Polisport's DGP fenders are constructed from DGP (Durable Gloss Polypropylene), a result of both Polisport's own research and close partnership with industry specialists. Due to polypropylene's characteristics, as the gloss increases, its mechanical characteristics decrease. Aware of this problem, Polisport began a 5-year development process to create a highly resistant plastic that was also the glossiest on the market. Rigorous testing, both in the lab and in the heat of world-class competition, resulted in DGP, the first plastic composition for off-road motorists that combines scratch-resistant maximum gloss with maximum strength.
